Our Lovella bride, Amy, and her groom Phillip had a beautiful and elegant wedding in Santa Barbara, California. Bride Amy was looking for two wedding dresses for her big day, wanting to change her bridal look for the wedding reception and dancing. For her first bridal look, Amy chose a modern minimalist wedding dress with timeless bridal details. This first dress featured a flattering off the shoulder neckline and asymmetrical ruching along the fitted bodice. The fit to flare skirt offered a classic bridal silhouette while a removable wedding dress overskirt added volume for a ball gown look and bridal princess feel. The open back design of this chic bridal gown added a touch of modernity while the long train made the dress feel truly bridal. Bride Amy completed her elegant wedding day look with a satin edge bridal veil and a bouquet of white calla lilies.
Amy's bridesmaids carried simple white calla lily bouquets, smaller versions of her bridal bouquet, and wore long black bridesmaids dresses with a halter neckline and leg slit. It was the perfect blend of elegant with a bit of sexy that we love for a California wedding day. The groomsmen kept things classic in black tuxedos, while groom Phillip stood out in a white tuxedo jacket to match the timeless elegance of this coastal wedding day.
For the wedding reception, bride Amy opted for a completely different style wedding dress that was fit for a party! Dress two was a sparkle and floral lace detailed fitted wedding dress. This reception bridal dress features a plunging neckline and open back with a trendy tulle bow detail on the back.
