Before we dive into the newest designer bridal accessories and wedding fashion details, be sure to watch our New York Bridal Fashion week recap video showcasing some behind the scenes peeks of the top 6 bridal accessory trends from the Fall and Winter 2025 bridal fashion collections of some of our favorite wedding designers.
Trend 1: Bridal Gloves
The first bridal accessory trend we saw across many of our favorite wedding designers was bridal gloves. From long gloves going up the arm to short wrist length gloves, sheer tulle gloves to lace gloves, we saw so many different versions of bridal gloves. We love that gloves can help brides change their wedding day look without needing to purchase or change into a second dress. Gloves will always be a timeless bridal accessory. Whether long or short, with lace appliques or sparkles and pearls, or simple and elegant, bridal gloves can help brides create that unforgettable moment while also reflecting their personality.
Here are a few bridal gloves that we spotted coming down the runways from our favorite designers at Lovella:

Trend 2: Detachable Sleeves
Similar to bridal gloves but deserving of its own category is detachable long sleeves for wedding dresses. The removable bridal dress sleeve is all about giving brides options. They can have coverage without the commitment of a sleeve, and they can have the extra mobility (Hello, reception dancing!!) that a sleeve attached to a wedding dress cannot. While a detachable sleeve can give a similar look to a bridal glove, we saw many designers creating matching detachable sleeve accessories to their wedding dresses that we had to separate them from the glove trend.
Again, a detachable sleeve is a great option for brides who want to change their wedding day look without needing a second dress. A removable sleeve is also a great option for brides who want or need additional coverage on wedding day but don't want to be limited in mobility from a traditional sleeve or off the shoulder style.
Here are a few of the top trending detachable wedding dress sleeves that we saw coming down the runway from our favorite bridal designer at Lovella:

Trend 3: Dramatic Veils
Wedding veils will always be a number one trend in our hearts and is a bridal accessory. But this year on the runways of New Your Fashion Week the top bridal dress designers to the veil up a few notches in terms of style and presented wedding dresses with extra dramatic bridal veils. Whether it was with extra tulle, draped fabric, oversized flowers, encrusted with sparkles, beads and pearls, or extra short (or long!) in length, These dramatic veils added to the interest of a wedding look and will allow brides to create that statement look that many are going for on their wedding day.
At Lovella, it's no secret that we love a bridal veil. We always recommend brides at least try on at bridal veil when wedding dress shopping. Wedding designers are creating some beautiful and very dramatic veils for this next season with bold floral elements and textural details. A dramatic bridal veil is for sure on trend for upcoming weddings and we were so excited to what these statement pieces coming down the runways.
Here are a few of the top trending ways that a few of the bridal designers that we carry at Lovella incorporate dramatic veils into their runway shows this season:

Trend 4: Bridal Capes
The next bridal accessory trend we saw across numerous wedding designers present on the runways at this year's New York Bridal Fashion Week was bridal capes. And by cape we mean dramatic, ultra chic and very interesting bridal capes that truly made a statement coming down the runway. On trend are not just bridal capes, but rather bridal capes that create a moment and add to the drama of any bridal look.
We have seen bridal capes and cover ups in the past but this time the top wedding dress designers are incorporating luxurious fabrics and getting creative with their draping and manipulation of fabrics. Many of the bridal capes we saw coming down the runway also had long trains, really adding the drama to the bridal look. These bridal capes or shrugs are again a great accessory to easily change the look of your wedding dress without changing into a second gown.

Trend 5: Bun Covers
One of our favorite bridal accessory designers, Maria Elena, set the next bridal accessory trend of bun covers. Ballerina inspired fashion and looks are definitely having a moment for today's brides and we loved seeing these elegant hair accessories adorning the new trending wedding dresses coming down the runways of New York Bridal Fashion Week.
A bridal bun to create that pulled back bridal hair look that is popular with brides will always be a timeless bridal hairstyle. To up level your bridal hair bun, we love the idea of adding a chic bun cover to elevate the look. From crystal embellished to pearl detailed and even covered in bows, bun covers are one bridal hair accessory we can't wait to see on our brides.

Trend 6: Choker Style Necklaces
The last, but certainly not the least, new and trending bridal accessory we saw across many runways during New York Bridal Fashion Week was choker style bridal necklaces. We saw choker bridal jewelry making an appearance during bridal fashion week in the spring and they have taken off even more in this fall showcase.
Many styles of choker necklaces were seen during this season's runway shows, but pearl detailed chokers definitely stole the spotlight. Pearls in general whether on the wedding dresses or on the bridal accessories like veils or bridal gloves are indeed having a moment in bridal as more and more brides are embracing the femininity of pearls. And we are here for it!
