After this, only one post remains chronicling our bridal market coverage. It’s been fun!
The Rivini by Rita Vinieris Fall 2014 Collection was inspired by Venice. More specifically, “the beautiful harmony of the gentle gothic architecture reflecting on the shimmering waters,” according to the Collection’s official statement.
The tone was undoubtedly set when the show opened with two brides, one in a jumpsuit, one in a dress, holding hands. The statement made the news for sure, but to us it was a simple proclamation that love is universal and equal.
This collection was full of sweet feminine, fashion-forward shimmering drama. Our favorite part was the jumpsuits. Wedding fashion specialist and expert Nayri: “We picked up the very first look that comes out with the embroidered top (below). It is such PERFECTION! Rita’s the only one we saw do multiple jumpsuits, and it was love at first sight. A jumpsuit is perfect for the rehearsal dinner, or even the day of the wedding! It’s such a great alternative for a bride who may not want to wear a dress or a suit.”
Another favorite was the bias-cut lace corset top with a full skirt of layered airy tulle with horse hair (second below). “This look couldn’t be more perfect! Lovella Brides tend to typically like drama, and this is classic and sexy, yet dramatic.”
