A: We would recommend 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding is the ideal time to purchase your bridal gown. Lovella Bridal has options for rush orders or you may also be able to purchase a sample gown.
Q: Why do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
A: Our stylists at Lovella Bridal want to provide you with the personal attention and expertise that you deserve to help select your dream wedding gown. We have a signature process we take each bride through to find you your dream wedding dress!
Q: How long do you schedule for my appointment?
A: You will need to set aside at least an hour. It’s one of the most important purchases that you’ll ever make for yourself, so take some time to try on a selection of our stunning wedding gowns.
Q: What do I need to bring to my appointment?
A: Pictures of gowns that best describe your vision and style that most interests you. We also encourage our brides to be open to try on styles recommended by Lovella stylists. Over the years we’ve developed an eye for what works. You may be pleasantly surprised if you do!
Q: Can I bring family and friends to my appointment?
A: Bringing along family members and/or friends who are near and dear to your heart often enhance the intimate nature of selecting your dream gown. However, please be mindful that this may also present a challenge if your entourage does not share your vision.
Q: What is your policy on taking pictures while trying on wedding gowns?
A: Picture taking is permitted in our salon!
Q: How do I pay for my gown?
A: All purchases in-store must be paid in full.
Q: What is a trunk show?
A: During Trunk Show weekend events the wedding gown designer or their representative brings their entire collection (yes, in trunks!) and provides our Lovella Bride's with their own personal consultations. The benefits for you to attend a trunk show are that you'll have the opportunity to pre shop a larger selection of gowns not yet available in-stores.

Q: What is your fitting and alteration policy?
A: Highly skilled Lovella Bridal couture seamstresses conduct fittings within 2 months of your wedding day. Tuesday - Friday are designated as fitting days to ensure personal privacy and attention.
Q: When shall I schedule my first fitting?
A: As soon as your gown arrives you will be notified by Lovella Bridal. You will schedule your first fitting 2 months prior to the wear date.
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: The most important item to bring with you is your shoes, as we need to determine the best hemline length for your gown. You may also want to bring undergarments that you intend to wear.
Q: How many fittings are necessary?
A: On average 2 to 3 fittings is the usual number that is necessary for our brides. If structural changes or modifications are needed additional visits may be required to achieve the perfect look and feel. Each gown and body require different levels of attention.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment to look at accessories?
A: Appointments are required for personalized attention to help create the perfect look to complement your wedding gown.
Q: When should I order my veil and/or headpiece?
A:The veil/headpiece and all other accessories are the final touches that complete the look and feel of your vision. Please allow 3 to 4 months for delivery.
Q: Will you ship my gown directly to my address out of state, out of country?
A:Our salon requires personal inspection of all merchandise at the time of pickup. Inquire within for details so we may further offer you personalized assistance.
