A: We would recommend that 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding is the ideal time to purchase your bridal gown. This gives you plenty of time to choose the look and feel of your gown and helps you set the overall style of your wedding. In the event, that you need to work to a tighter timeframe we will do all that we can to accommodate you. Lovella Bridal has options for rush orders or you may also be able to purchase a sample gown.

A: Our stylists at Lovella Bridal want to provide you with the personal attention and expertise that you deserve to help select your dream wedding gown.
Q: How long do you schedule for my appointment?
A: You will need to set aside at least an hour. It’s one of the most important purchases that you’ll ever make for yourself, so take some time to try on a selection of our stunning wedding gowns.
Q: Do you have the designer wedding gown that I am looking for?
A: Most likely we do because we shop the world for you; however if you have a specific designer and/or style in mind our expert stylists can better assist you and help you fulfill your vision.
Q: What do I need to bring to my appointment?
A: Pictures of gowns in magazines or online that best describe your vision and style that most interests you. We also encourage our brides to be open to try on styles recommended by Lovella stylists. Over the years we’ve developed an eye for what works. You may be pleasantly surprised if you do!
Q: Can I bring family and friends to my appointment?
A: Bringing along family members and/or friends who are near and dear to your heart often enhance the intimate nature of selecting your dream gown. However, please be mindful that this may also present a challenge if your entourage does not share your vision.
Q: Will you have my size gowns available for me to try on?
A: Our inventory consists of size 10 to 12 sample wedding gowns. Lovella Bridal expert stylists are equipped and skilled to accommodate a petite or plus size bride to help you choose your perfect gown.
Q: Do you have color swatches?
A: Designer's provide color swatches for your reference upon request. *Fee may apply.
Q: Do you have different silhouettes to try on?
A: We have a large showcase of hand picked wedding gowns for you to try on that offers you ample variety and styles from you to choose.
Q: What is your policy on taking pictures while trying on wedding gowns?
A: Picture taking is permitted in our salon!
Q: How do I pay for my gown?
A: An initial deposit of 60% will secure the order and the remaining balance will be due upon 7 days of its arrival.
Q: How long do I have to wait for my gown to arrive?
A: The industry standard is 6 to 8 months and may vary by designer.
Q: What is a trunk show?
A: The wedding gown designer or their representative brings their entire collection (yes, in trunks!) and provides our customers with their own personal consultations. The benefits for you to attend a trunk show are that the designer may suggest custom changes, offer special pricing or other incentives on orders placed during the show!

Q: What is your fitting and alteration policy?
A: Highly skilled Lovella Bridal couture seamstresses conduct fittings within 2 months of your wedding day. Monday - Friday are designated as fitting days to ensure personal privacy and attention; special accommodations may be arranged individually case by case, so please ask us if this is necessary.
Q: When shall I schedule my first fitting?
A: As soon as your gown arrives you will be notified by Lovella Bridal and depending on your timeline of your wedding day you may schedule your fitting at your earliest convenience within 60 days of your wear date.
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: The most important item to bring with you is your shoes, as we need to determine the best hemline length for your gown. You may also want to bring undergarments that you intend to wear.
Q: How many fittings are necessary?
A: 1 to 2 fittings is the usual number that is necessary for our brides. If structural changes or modifications are needed additional visits may be required to achieve the perfect look and feel.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment to look at accessories?
A: Appointments are required for personalized attention to help create the perfect look to complement your wedding gown.
Q: When should I order my veil and/or headpiece?
A:The veil/headpiece and all other accessories are the final touches that complete the look and feel of your vision. The best time to complete your vision is to incorporate all the various elements when finalizing the selection of your wedding gown. Please allow 3 to 4 months for delivery.
Q: Will you ship my gown directly to my address out of state, out of country?
A:Our salon requires personal inspection of all merchandise at the time of pickup to ensure flawless transfer of responsibility of all purchases. Inquire within for details so we may further offer you personalized assistance.
