Not long ago we announced the arrival of WTOO bridesmaid dresses (and you may recall these jewel-toned beauties featured on our blog). Now we’re excited to announce that we’ve added Amsale to our bridesmaid dresses repertoire! We’re pretty sure you’ll love these chic long styles, especially for fall and winter weddings. Also, we can’t wait to receive the all-new print gowns (bottom photo). We’ll add these new styles, which we saw on the runway during bridal fashion week, to our existing collection in January 2013. For more info on any of these styles, please inquire within: (818) 248-0026.
During bridal market, the Lovella team was thrilled to have the chance to take a tour of the New York-based hands-on factory where all the Kenneth Pool and Amsale bridal magic occurs. Of course, this was not our first encounter with Kenneth Pool during our trip to NYC; we were there for the runway show, and had a private viewing (part one, part two). Among our sightings, where all the Amsale Aberra-designed bridal gowns are made. were a vintage quality control machine, digital machines that create the patterns, and spools of the dreamy fabric that is used to construct the gowns. Enjoy these exclusive photos! (Above) A vintage quality control machine, which is used to lay the fabric to ensure all the flaws are cut around and not used. Note that these machines allow no room for error! (Above) Digitalized patterns are designed for each bride. (Above) A computerized […]
Welcome to part two of our private viewing of Kenneth Pool’s Fall 2013 Collection (click here for part one). We also posted exclusive photos from the runway show. It’s more of the same fabulousness in this second round of images from the showroom. In the first photo above you can see Lovella’s Isabel (second from left), Kristina (center), and Nayri (far right) posing for a photo with the ladies at Kenneth Pool. And one of the definite treasures of this collection is the pink ball gown; you’ll see it near the bottom. We hope you enjoy!
While our coverage of bridal market winds down, we are sharing the last – but definitely not least – of what we saw in New York City during our visit. This collection by Kenneth Pool, described as being “rich with spirited and slightly audacious femininity,” is full of fabulous, well, feminine flair. Enjoy these exclusive photos; stay tuned for part two!
Our bridal market coverage continues with exclusive photos from the Kenneth Pool runway, and Instagram can prove we were there! The New York Times spotted Randy Fenoli front row at the show with Lovella Bridal at his side (three women at right in the first photo below). The theme of this collection is Opulent Sirens. Head designer Amsale Aberra returned with form-fitting trumpet and ball gowns in rich satin, some with exquisite crystal beading – “decadent artistry.” We loved the use of the gold lace in Amsale’s two ball gowns; she was the only designer we saw who used gold lace. Style-wise, one of our favorites was the last ball gown, which we of course picked up for our salon. As the official release stated, the collection “is for the bride who loves to turn heads and enjoys every moment of being a woman.” Sounds fabulous to us!
