Summer’s in full swing, and what says “summer” more than the Fourth of July? Across blogs and websites, there’s no shortage of patriotic wedding and entertaining ideas. However, much of the inspiration involves a classic touch or vintage twist. Either that’s the trend now in general, antiques and vintage, or simply a throwback with good ol’ Americana. Either way, we’re sold! Enjoy the inspiration in faded red, white and blue. May your Fourth be full of festivities and fun, but also incredible pride in our country, its storied past, and ultimately our independence as a country. The idea of displaying photos in chic glassware, as shown here in this shoot by Brocade Designs with photos by Nathan Westerfield. Cluster photos together on a mantel during your wedding, on a table during a shower, or even in your home as permanent decor. Enjoy the inspiration!
There are three components to a wedding cake display: 1.) The cake. 2.) The entire space in which it’s presented. 3.) The stand. The stand can be especially important if your cake isn’t a big statement in itself (hello, budget brides). It’s also another way that you can weave in your wedding’s theme with relative ease. We have some gorgeous inspiration for you today, from vintage silver stands, to iron custom-made creations, to those dripping in crystals. Enjoy! This alluring antique gold candelabra-turned-cupcake stand, seen here. We could see this stand incorporated into a tablescape, as an accompaniment to a wedding cake or sweets display, or a cluster of them as a cupcake arrangement at a bridal shower or spring soiree. Enjoy!
