On the eve of our Kenneth Pool & Maria Elena Headpieces Trunk Show, we feel it appropriate to spread the wedding dress love. We spotted this beauty of a Kenneth Pool gown by way of Elizabeth Anne Designs (click over to her blog for full credits), with lovely photos by Kirsten Ellis Beaux Arts Photographie. How sweet is it that the bride prepared for the chilly seaside breeze by donning a blush cardigan? This wedding has so many things going for it: Santa Barbara as its backdrop, blush and gray accents, irresistible details like rose petals and punchy flowers, library card cabinets overflowing with florals, a kiss of the hand… and that dress. Impeccable. Enjoy!
We had to do all in our power to not repost all of these images from Jeff and Kristin’s wedding that Duke Khodaverdian captured and shared on his blog. From the couple’s nuptials in a historic museum and gardens to the glamorous and exquisitely-lit intimate reception celebration on the water, the great city of Miami is present in every one of these photos. Lovella bride Kristin absolutely dazzled in an Ines Di Santo ball gown and accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces. She wore shoes from the David Tutera Shoe Collection that worked wonderfully with her bejeweled gown, headpiece and jewelry, all also from our salon. For the reception she changed into a more dance-worthy number: a fabulous mini custom-designed dress, also by Ines Di Santo. In fact, if you love Kristin’s Ines gowns, you’re in luck! We’re hosting an Ines Di Santo trunk show March 14-16, and the designer will […]
The sheer decadence of this image. This photo by Mark Anthony Studios, from this shoot, features a couture Ines Di Santo gown: ball skirt and embellished corset bodice complete with lace-up back. Also, Ines Di Santo fingerless gloves, Maria Elena Headpieces earrings and headpiece, and a glamelia bouquet and matching red lip. WedLuxe is no stranger to extravagance; some of our favorite spreads have been featured in the magazine and on their blog.
Susan and Jade’s San Diego wedding was nothing short of absolutely lovely. The magnificent Caroline Tran captured all the details — stationery and paper goods in shades of pink and seafoam, the candle-lined ceremony aisle and props like umbrellas and giant pink balloons props. Oh, and the sweets at the reception: too-pretty-to-eat confections like French macarons, intricate cakes, and cake pops complete with edible cameo embellishments. All pretty pastel perfection. Lovella Bride Susan wore a Kenneth Pool ball gown fit for a princess. Wrote the bride of her dress: “Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and expertise in helping me find the absolutely perfect wedding dress. The dress was everything I ever dreamed of and was definitely a major highlight of our special day.” The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and embellished belt at the bodice, and an artfully gathered skirt. The gown was so very Susan: sweet, […]
Some women shine as brides and are complete naturals in front of the camera; Tina is one of those women. Tina married Raffi earlier this year in a glamorous Pasadena wedding. The sun was shining and the weather was California-perfect. Lovella bride Tina wore an impeccable Rivini gown, fitted and shirred on top and frothy and textural at the bottom. Her hair matched her skirt in proportions, beautifully pulled back and voluminous with tendrils left at the side, the opposite adorned with a headpiece. Her look was completed with classic drop earrings and a dazzling bracelet, with a traditional white bouquet and veil accompanying. These photographs and everything in them are enchanting. We’re delighted by the mix of color and black and white photos, with the latter being an especially magical element. Enjoy these images by Armen Asadorian, and congratulations to the picture-perfect couple! Credits: Photography: Armen Asadorian Photography / […]
