Singer/songwriter and music’s rebellious girl Kesha (formerly Ke$ha) treaded the red carpet in style at Sunday night’s 2014 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. The songstress wowed in a mermaid cut lace gown by Ines Di Santo. Kesha’s rock girl look of sorts – pink hair, smoky makeup, a tan – was met with dramatic attire: black dress with nude underlay in an ultra-feminine shape. The look proved to be a successful mix of rebel meets sophisticate, the ultimate grand reentry for the singer after a brief hiatus from the entertainment scene. We carry the bridal version of the same Ines Di Santo gown; it’s exquisite. If you you love Kesha’s look here, how about donning something with the same feel on your wedding day? It’s part two of our recap of Urban Unveiled LA with photos by Duke Photography. Click here to see our booth and runway show from part one. We were delighted by all the beautiful 1920s era inspiration at the Gatsby-inspired bridal event. We adored Copper Willow Paper Studio’s paper chandelier; how fun to let the imagination run wild with thoughts of pretty paper! And it was so fun watching the flapper girls dance on stage. For a complete list of vendors and sponsors, head to California Wedding Day’s page. The event was such a good time, we almost forgot we were there to work. Enjoy our favorite Gatsby inspiration below; surely this will come in handy for brides or any women looking to host a ‘20s-era wedding, shower or soiree.
This fabulous black letterpress stationery designed by Sugar & Fluff Design House and printed by Lilikoi Design + Letterpress, spotted in this gorgeous Los Angeles wedding. Black is chic and classic. So to top black stationery off with letterpress printing is the ultimate. It’s not done often, but we think it was pulled off here marvelously.
