This fabulous Ines Di Santo blush pink high-low gown from our salon is featured in the Spring/Summer 2014 issue of California Wedding Day (CWD). The spread in which it appears is titled “Candy Couture.” The juxtaposition of this sexy couture confection with colorful gumballs is so playful—what fun! We’ve also included an image we snapped of the same style from on bridal market runway. Also in this issue is a sparkling report on Di Santo’s latest bridal line, Luxe. We proudly carry select styles from this brand new and first collection in our salon. CWD describes the the line as “the youthful, flirtatious sister to the couture collection’s sophisticated gowns.” It’s “designed for the younger, edgier bride.” And we couldn’t be happier to offer Ines Di Santo creations at a lower price point for more budget-conscious brides. 2013, what a year. The biggest personal highlight of 2013 for us was the opening of our newly renovated salon. We took on the task of hosting our very own POP, The Bridal Event in early 2013; it was a success. We also sent models down the runway in designs from our salon for I Do! An Event for the Stylish Bride, Premier Bridal Event and Urban Unveiled LA. Designs from the following designers’ collections were added to Lovella’s selection of bridal gowns: Martina Liana, Matthew Christopher and Sareh Nouri. Lovella Bridal was featured on Style Me Pretty, Ruffled and Green Wedding Shoes, and in California Wedding Day, Ceremony and Plush. Also, our own Nayri was tapped to share advice with California Wedding Day readers. We continued collaborations with fellow vendors on countless fashion and inspiration shoots that had our gowns at chic spots like Viceroy Santa Monica, Redondo Beach […]

Urban Unveiled LA was an event to remember! With a Great Gatsby theme, the historic Vibiana was decked out in anything and everything glitz and glam; it truly felt like we were having soiree in the 1920s. Guests even came dressed for the theme, which made the event all the more festive. Not only were we a participating vendor in the event, but we hosted the bridal fashion show of the night with the help of stylist Kate Riney. Models were sent down the runway in gorgeous looks from our salon: Ines Di Santo wedding dresses, and accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces and Twigs & Honey. Thank you to California Wedding Day for hosting the event, and Duke Photography for all the photos. Stay tuned for part 2, where we’ll share some of the special Gatsby details of the event. In the meantime, enjoy this bridal fashion inspiration!
California Wedding Day’s Urban Unveiled LA is fast approaching! A couple weeks ago we announced on our blog that Lovella would host the exclusive bridal fashion show of the evening. The theme is The Great Gatsby; no other so perfectly encapsulates all the glamour that a wedding can be. Needless to say, we’re excited for this dramatic event. Below is the official inspiration board including images from a shoot from Duke Photography, Kat Minassi Events & Design, and more. (You’ll spy Ines Di Santo gowns from Lovella on the board.) This compilation of images helps to set the tone for next Wednesday, May 1; the event is from 6-10pm. You may purchase your tickets here. We hope you’re in the audience when we send our models down that runway!
