Last year we elected to Celebrate New Year’s in Gold, Silver & Black. This year is much of the same… but spiked with even more dazzle! And why must New Year’s be the only time to celebrate big? We should all take time here and there to throw a party and celebrate. Here’s to a glitzy good time this New Year’s Eve. Stay safe. We’ll see you in 2014! After this, only one post remains chronicling our bridal market coverage. It’s been fun! The Rivini by Rita Vinieris Fall 2014 Collection was inspired by Venice. More specifically, “the beautiful harmony of the gentle gothic architecture reflecting on the shimmering waters,” according to the Collection’s official statement. The tone was undoubtedly set when the show opened with two brides, one in a jumpsuit, one in a dress, holding hands. The statement made the news for sure, but to us it was a simple proclamation that love is universal and equal. This collection was full of sweet feminine, fashion-forward shimmering drama. Our favorite part was the jumpsuits. Wedding fashion specialist and expert Nayri: “We picked up the very first look that comes out with the embroidered top (below). It is such PERFECTION! Rita’s the only one we saw do multiple jumpsuits, and it was love at first sight. A jumpsuit is […]
Sometimes the best, most accurate description of a wedding comes from the ones who capture it all: the photographers. In this case, it was Chris and Lynn of CHRIS+LYNN Photographers who summed up Sheila and Steven’s day beautifully: “Pink parasols, a shimmering Sofreh, and a ceremony setting to take your breath away! Sheila and Steven… wanted to feel the warmth of the sun and the wind in their hair as they celebrated their love at the water’s edge at their Cabo destination wedding.” Lovella bride Sheila wore a classically sexy Ines Di Santo lace gown from our salon. Paired with a handcrafted Maria Elena Headpieces belt, also from Lovella, she had a truly winning bridal look. Her jewelry and headpieces were dazzling, and her bouquet was romantic. The couple enjoyed a soiree in the spirit of the bride’s Persian culture, and the night was capped off with amazing fireworks. That’s […]
We found photo after fabulous photo from this wedding featured recently on the WedLuxe blog. This celebration has everything: a picture-perfect bride and groom (make that bridal party), a Barbie cake, loads of dazzle, a gorgeous rosary by Maria Elena, plenty of chic white everything, and a fairytale wedding gown and rare but glamorous fingerless gloves by the queen of bridal couture, Ines Di Santo. Now all that’s left to say is: Enjoy! This sparkling bouquet, spotted here. Not only are the light-colored florals (faux or not) appropriate for a winter bride, but the sparkle has ultra holiday appeal. Also, nothing brightens the cold days of January and February like some dazzle.
