This ring box by Royal Cakes, in a photo by Duke Photography. Women will swoon over this all-handmade signature design by the LA-based duo. Royal Cakes exhibits attention to detail that is unrivaled; the creation below, with its detailing and pearls and sparkle, is evidence of that. This little creation is similar to that of a wedding gown designer – and we can appreciate that!
This wedding photographed by Duke Photography was one very glamorous fairytale affair. Lovella bride Mirna opted for not one Ines Di Santo gown, but two, with a pair of flashy Jimmy Choo high heels paired with each. She accessorized with Maria Elena Headpieces accessories from our salon, along with one of Maria Elena’s signature pieces for her bouquet: a rosary. An Ines Di Santo veil, along with impeccable makeup and hair by Fairytale Hair & Makeup, completed her look. Mirna looked every inch the queen on her wedding day. Mirna and Walter brought in the big guns, like wedding planning guru and Lovella friend David Tutera. Add entertainment from Infusion Xperience to that list, and you have an A+ roster of wedding professionals. Add doves, a carriage and a monogramed ice sculpture to the mix, and you have one unforgettable occasion. Congrats to the couple! And enjoy the images. […]
WedLuxe Magazine’s fashion shoots, despite all their fabulousness, always leave us craving more. The magazine describes their “Queen of the Nile” shoot as “bold colours of the Mediterranean combined with Egyptian motifs.” That’s a recipe for amazing hues, couture confections, high glamour, and envy-inducing jewelry and accessories. The star of the show, however, may just be that Ines Di Santo dress. We’re proud to say we carry this sensational style in our salon; call (818) 246-INES or click here for more information. You may view the editorial in its entirety, along with full credits, over at WedLuxe. Visual Cravings did an amazing job with the photography; Laura Kelly Wedding Design, with the styling.
We hosted the exclusive fashion show for the 4th annual Premier Bridal Event, presented by Harsanik.com and Fancy That! Events Sunday, March 10. We sent models down the runway in Ines Di Santo, Kenneth Pool, Edgardo Bonilla, Jorge Manuel gowns and Maria Elena Headpieces accessories. Arsineh Hairstylist and Makeup by Arpi made our models’ hair and makeup look terrific. Of course, there was more to the event than just our show. Area vendors, designers and artists were present to kick off the start of wedding season. White Night Design, Cake Studio, Tic-Tock Couture Florals, Royal Cakes & Designs and more all showed off their spectacular goods and services. We left with this conclusion: 2013 is going to be a tremendous year for weddings! Duke Photography provided the photos. If you see any gowns or accessories that you love, inquire within. Enjoy!
Lovella bride Teny, we’re convinced, was made to wear this Ines Di Santo dress from our salon! It featured hand made ruched taffeta flowers with accents of embellishment at the bust, on the lower thigh, and at the skirt’s bottom. Her look was made complete with nude Prada shoes, a fingertip butterfly veil with satin edging from our salon, and minimal jewelry. Teny and Arlen married in Pasadena; there are so many smiles in the wedding photos from Rene Zadori Photography below. As for the bridal party, the bridesmaids wore long, dark blue dresses (with the maid of honor in her own style and color), and the groomsmen all looked dapper in black suits with gold vests and ties. Their reception space at Geragos Hall was spotted in chic ivory centerpieces made of hydrangeas and roses. A towering six-tier Rafi’s Pastry cake was another highlight; it featured blue satin met […]
