We’re rolling out exclusive Bridal Market coverage beginning with Ines Di Santo’s exquisite runway show. This collection was truly her best yet! This fresh, fashionable and fabulous Fall/Winter 2015 Couture Collection is inspired by the purity of winter. From the designer’s official statement about the designs: “Lace appliques, pearl detailing and architectural beading create depth while underlays in embroidered tulle, organza and English netting build volume among Peau De Soie and double-faced silk gowns. The color palate ranges from ethereal white and ivory to cameo pink, champagne and petal.” Per usual, Ines showed one of the most dynamic collections we view each year. Historically and consistently, she goes from ball gowns to slinky sexy silhouettes. She integrated many geometric designs and embroideries in this collection. Our ultimate favorite trend on this runway was the over skirts! We absolutely love the dynamic use and added level of drama a detachable skirt creates for […]
We collaborated with Yvette Hart Events and Melody Melikian Photography, along with an array of other fabulous vendors (below) to create the magic you see here. This woodsy shoot had it all: a pearl-embellished bouquet by Design by Ashley, a whimsically-accented five-tier cake from one of our favorites, Cake Studio, satin ribbon-wrapped cake servers, candles and more from Pearls & Lace Designs, an ornate and textural table setting… all in mint and gold. What is there not to love? With all the fabulous details of this shoot, Ines Di Santo gowns from our salon were the icing on the cake; we hope you feel the same. And if you find yourself in love with any of the designs you see here, simply inquire within. Enjoy! What sophistication! Parisa, Pretty Please Design owner, “prettified,” as she put it, so many of the details that played a part in her low-key bridal luncheon in Beverly Hills. We’re talking detail-upon-prettified-detail of white, gold and beige with lovely embellishments like burlap, pearls, white lace and raffia that gave this soiree sweet, sweet life. All the details, like personalized pencils, pearl-wrapped champagne flutes, and a cage featuring calligraphy to fill with bridal advice, made us swoon. We think they’ll do the same to you. Parisa, too, is a Lovella bride. Look for her equally sophisticated wedding feature on our blog soon! In the meantime, enjoy all the lovely inspiration from Parisa’s pre-wedding lunch with the girls. Soon-to-be bride Whitney came into our salon with one (big) request: that her dream wedding gown be comfortable. Comfort’s a request we don’t receive often. It’s not an impossible request, but it’s similar to wanting comfortable stilettos. But we were up to the challenge! After pondering Whitney’s request, our fashion specialist selected multiple gowns for her to try. After doing a walk-through of the salon, a Jenny Packham gown was selected. Would it meet the bride’s comfort and style requirements? Sure enough, it was a hit and Whitney was back two weeks later to purchase! That said, high school sweethearts Whitney and Nick wed in an intimate backyard ceremony and celebrated with a reception at an Italian restaurant. Whitney donned the Jenny Packham gown, featuring an embellished front, criss-cross back, and fluid body. The dress was many things: comfortable, ultra-feminine, sexy, romantic, elegant, and chic. Her bridal look was made […]
