On the eve of our Alvina Valenta Trunk Show weekend, we thought it appropriate to dig into the archives for this gem of a wedding and share a few additional photos not originally posted. Revisit our original post to see all the pretty details that was a part of her and Hryer’s big day, and view their feature on Style Me Pretty. In 2012 we shared Lovella Bride Parisa’s bridal luncheon on our blog, then details of her dreamy Beverly Hills wedding followed. Parisa, owner of Pretty Please Design, stunned in an Alvina Valenta dress complete with a Lazaro belt from Lovella Bridal. The veil, also from our salon, completed her look. Parisa embodied the Alvina Valenta bride: modern, fresh and effortlessly chic. If you’re loving her figure-defining lace confection, then you must make an appointment to attend the Alvina Valenta Trunk Show at Lovella this weekend! Call us at […]
It’s time to change the way people look at burlap. Yes, that “plain-woven, coarse fabric of jute, hemp, or the like” (source). Burlap has come a long way. No longer used just for utilitarian purposes, burlap’s being integrated into wedding themes and decor more than ever. Especially now that it’s spring, there’s no better time for it. The fabric lends an earthy, natural feel to decor. Bonus: it’s neutral in color. Another bonus: it’s uber affordable. Advice: don’t make burlap the leading star of the show. Instead, make it a fabulous supporting part, an element so effortless that it gets lost in the ensemble of the entire cast. Steal some of the inspiration below… and enjoy! A megastar lineup of Los Angeles vendors was on tap for this dream Beverly Hills wedding! We featured Parisa’s gorgeous bridal luncheon in our last post. She is a lover of pretty details, and her wedding had plenty of those to offer. Parisa wore an Alvina Valenta dress complete with a Lazaro belt from Lovella Bridal. The veil, also from our salon, aided in cementing that angelic look befitting of a bride. And of course, the other accessories, like YSL shoes and stunning yet still understated earrings, were fabulous additions. Congratulations to the beautiful couple, Parisa and Hryer! What sophistication! Parisa, Pretty Please Design owner, “prettified,” as she put it, so many of the details that played a part in her low-key bridal luncheon in Beverly Hills. We’re talking detail-upon-prettified-detail of white, gold and beige with lovely embellishments like burlap, pearls, white lace and raffia that gave this soiree sweet, sweet life. All the details, like personalized pencils, pearl-wrapped champagne flutes, and a cage featuring calligraphy to fill with bridal advice, made us swoon. We think they’ll do the same to you. Parisa, too, is a Lovella bride. Look for her equally sophisticated wedding feature on our blog soon! In the meantime, enjoy all the lovely inspiration from Parisa’s pre-wedding lunch with the girls.
