Being it’s autumn, this post couldn’t be more timely. Megan and Trinidad’s wedding is all kinds of autumn goodness. (Though, we must admit we’re envious; fall has blanketed must of the United States, save for Southern California.) The couple’s fall wedding in wine country was full of rustic richness. From the church ceremony, everyone moved on to celebrate at Ramekins culinary school. Guests were met with a chic cocktail hour complete with dancing, then true rustic wine country gold and purple ambiance indoors for the reception. Lovella Bride Megan wore a wonderfully romantic gown by Martina Liana, from our salon. The lace trumpet gown’s features included a sweetheart neckline, crystal waist, and ultra dreamy train. From the bride: “Thank you so much for helping make my day perfect. I loved my dress and so many friends and family said it’s the most beautiful dress they have seen. That means a lot since most […]
We happened upon this shoot, and found it and its details to be too dreamy, too fantastical, not to share. And we know it’s our lucky day when not one Ines Di Santo gown is featured in a shoot, but two. The two styles were perfect fits for this “Enchanted Secret Garden” spread in Elegant Wedding magazine. Find a complete list of vendors, along with more photos, over on the magazine’s blog. Enjoy! This wedding is downright delightful. Courtney and Colin married at the Harborside in Newport Beach. Their nuptials were followed by a tour of nearby Balboa Island. Photos of the two eating ice cream, and with their bridal party strolling carefree with a Ferris wheel, palm trees and the ocean as its backdrop, will make you smile. The sunny weather was the icing on the cake. Lovella Bride Courtney wore a perfectly frilled one-shoulder dress by La Sposa from our salon. Her gown fit her warm and sunny personality to a “T.” Accessories were kept to a minimum, which really gave her gown a chance to shine (but how could it not?). Courtney wore a single-strand bracelet, her hair swept up to the side met with fresh flowers. She carried a green and purple bouquet to match the couple’s wedding colors. Courtney and Colin’s wedding reception was not flashy; instead it […]
A ring can be symbolic, have a history, and/or mean any amount of things or carry any amount of memories. But, no matter its (long or short) past, there’s something to be said about a perfectly pretty engagement, cocktail or wedding ring in an unexpected hue. In fact, many of our brides opt to wear a blue ring as their “something blue.” Feast your eyes on these sparkling beauties – and enjoy! These pretty purple cookies by Maggie Austin Cake. We love couture confections (see here, here, and here), treats that have required much time and love to result in total and complete eye candy. Too pretty to eat? Perhaps.
