With the warm temperatures here in Southern California, it’s hard to believe that autumn is right around the corner. But it is. This lovely shoot out of Ontario, Canada is a reminder that fall begins in just days—and it’s something to be excited about: rich colors and deep metallics, incredible textures, and comfort. Merlot, a deep, rich red, is no doubt the star of this rustic-meets-glamour shoot. Plus, Rachel A. Clingen, one of our favorites, had a heavy hand in its creation. Not only are the florals plentiful and exquisite, and the confections too pretty and ornate to eat, but the Ines Di Santo gown and bolero in this shoot has our hearts. This post has purposeful timing; our Ines Di Santo Trunk Show kicks off today, September 19. We carry this exact design at Lovella, and the Spring 2015 Collection will also be in our salon this weekend. There’s […]

Summer’s in full swing, and what says “summer” more than the Fourth of July? Across blogs and websites, there’s no shortage of patriotic wedding and entertaining ideas. However, much of the inspiration involves a classic touch or vintage twist. Either that’s the trend now in general, antiques and vintage, or simply a throwback with good ol’ Americana. Either way, we’re sold! Enjoy the inspiration in faded red, white and blue. May your Fourth be full of festivities and fun, but also incredible pride in our country, its storied past, and ultimately our independence as a country. The sheer decadence of this image. This photo by Mark Anthony Studios, from this shoot, features a couture Ines Di Santo gown: ball skirt and embellished corset bodice complete with lace-up back. Also, Ines Di Santo fingerless gloves, Maria Elena Headpieces earrings and headpiece, and a glamelia bouquet and matching red lip. WedLuxe is no stranger to extravagance; some of our favorite spreads have been featured in the magazine and on their blog.
Valentine’s Day has passed, but love is still in the air. Truth is, we’ve fallen for red roses in recent months. A classic, true symbol of romantic love, red roses will never go out of style, nor will they cease to lose their “classic” status. One bit of advice when integrating red roses into your wedding, though: be wary of the extras. If you desire chic, pair red roses with an all-white or ivory palette, with maybe metallic accents; that combination is sure to amaze. When done right, the red rose is one of the chicest, most classic (if not overlooked) options in the book. Enjoy the inspiration!
