We are spellbound. This recipe of an Ines Di Santo ball gown, perfect pastel florals, gilded couture cakes, and impeccable styling make this shoot almost too fabulous to handle. Krista Fox and Paige Lewis once again make magic in this Elegant Wedding spread, “Parisian Princess.” The shoot was recently featured on Style Me Pretty too, under the guise of a Maria Antoinette theme. (Click on both links to view many more photos.) If you love this off-the-shoulder Ines Di Santo gown, we’re positive we carry a similar style by the designer that you’ll love; contact us for more information. Prepare to be inspired. Enjoy! Ombre cake. The universal love is no secret. There’s just something lovely about the degradation of pretty color coupled with confection. And while ombre icing is great and all, how about a little surprise inside? (After all, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, right?) And an ombre cake needn’t be only for big occasions; it’s something you can replicate with time and maybe a little practice. Amanda Rettke, author of Surprise-Inside Cakes, has a wonderful how-to on her blog. Enjoy! Valentine’s Day has passed, but love is still in the air. Truth is, we’ve fallen for red roses in recent months. A classic, true symbol of romantic love, red roses will never go out of style, nor will they cease to lose their “classic” status. One bit of advice when integrating red roses into your wedding, though: be wary of the extras. If you desire chic, pair red roses with an all-white or ivory palette, with maybe metallic accents; that combination is sure to amaze. When done right, the red rose is one of the chicest, most classic (if not overlooked) options in the book. Enjoy the inspiration! This luscious red bouquet by one of our favorite artists, Karen Tran. Just when you think the red is enough punch, your eyes meet the white satin bow then that fabulous sparkle at the handle. Sold! The holidays may be over, but this bouquet is perfect for a winter wedding. And to us, red roses never go out of style.
In less than one week we will host a dream event for any bride-to-be! Wedding or fashion fanatics will want in on the fun, too. Next Wednesday, November 20 is the Grand Opening of our new luxury salon. The celebration will be complete with a couture fashion show, and appearances by designers Ines Di Santo, Jorge Manuel, Maria Elena Fuentes, and Rivini Fashion Director James Brown. Also on the roster will be our good friend and incredibly talented designer Edgardo Bonilla; we’re pictured below with him and his model from bridal fashion week in October 2013. The New Jersey-based designer has strong ties with Lovella. In 2011 we collaborated on the Edgardo Bonilla for Lovella Bridal collection. We’ve had private viewings of his latest collections at bridal market, and we have interviewed him before. We have also used his gowns in countless bridal fashion shoots, like this one at The […]
