Bridal Market: Rivini Runway Show

Our exclusive Bridal Market coverage continues with lovely Rivini. (If you missed our photos from Ines Di Santo’s runway show, click here.) This collection is best described as “effortless chic.” The pieces we saw on the runway were soft, romantic, and whimsical with a sexy edge. Our favorite element was the use of detachable skirts; these pieces are so dynamic, and they have the ability to personalize a wedding day ensemble. It’s no surprise that they’re a big trend this season. Bridal Fashion Week Fall 2013: Kenneth Pool Private Viewing

(For example, the first dress below, tulle with the embroidered belt, has a detachable train that is so fun.) “As long as there is a fine line between Cinderella and a modern princess, tulle can give the bride the look she wants,” Aberra shared. You’ll also see more lace and retable trains here than ever before […]

Attendees included world-famous bridal designer Ines Di Santo, and her daughter Veronica Di Santo, Monte Durham of Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, Bridal Expo Chicago’s Jim Verraros and Bill Brennan, and other leaders in the industry. In the photos below you’ll also see Gisele Del Busto, Maria Elena’s all-knowing collection accessory stylist/designer representative who comes to all our trunk shows and styles our brides. “She’s taught me so much about accessories and is so talented at what she does! For my wedding I will […]
