We return to our Floral Love series with a bang — with versatile and pretty succulents. It would have been easy to incorporate succulent centerpieces, boutonnieres, favors, etc. into one post, but we found so much inspiration in just the bouquets that we had to make it a two-parter. It’s no wonder that succulents are a popular choice of florals in California. According to MarthaStewart.com, succulents are “plants that store their water in their stems, leaves, and roots, causing their ‘succulence.’ Succulents have evolved in the desert and need direct sunlight.” Succulents are easy going, too. You need only to water them every 10 days to 2 weeks, they require minimal fertilization, and are easy and sturdy to work with. Enjoy the post! This coastal wedding escort table design by Karen Train Florals, with photo by Joseph Matthew Photography. We’re swept up in the magical feeling of the beach design, complete with colors of seashell pink and ivory met with extras like keys and tiny succulents in glass orbs. As the floral studio put it, it’s “marrying french vintage with coastal chic.” We love it!
