If there was ever a way to ring in the fall and winter wedding season, it’s with this dress. This Rivini gown, featured in the Fall 2014 issue of The Knot, will be available at our Rivini Trunk Show this weekend, September 26-28. Love it? Call us at to schedule an appointment: (818) 246-4637.
We had the pleasure of hosting Liancarlo designer Carlos Ramirez at Lovella Bridal this past weekend during a trunk show. Needless to say, we’ve had Liancarlo on our minds lately! The designer’s latest collection is one of fantasy but practicality. Features like artfully placed tulle, modern lace, his trademark appliqués, and sweetheart bodices grace gowns with intricate embroidery that adds extraordinary dimension to each. Ethereal and romantic are key adjectives of this collection. The Knot summed it up quite well, stating the line “is proof that classic doesn’t have to mean boring.” If you love what you see, contact us: 818-246-4637. In the meantime, enjoy browsing the expertly-crafted pieces that make up Ramirez’s exquisite Spring 2015 Collection.
Last year we attended both semi-annual bridal markets. Last month, however, we took a pass — but admired from afar. Well, Rita Vinieris has done it again. Rivini’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection has what’s to be expected of the label: fantasy, romance and elegance. Described The Knot of the collection: “[The] line of wedding dresses plays with negative space to evoke a timeless, yet modern style. Rita Vinieris’ classic feminine silhouettes were given an update with modern prints, leather accents and subtle, revealing lace panels.” In other words, there’s a lot of dreaminess here. Floating, flowing and glistening fabrics met with regal designs, details and textures. Plunging necklines, structural bodices and touches of leather sprinkle this collection. It’s fabulous. As noted in our last post, in 2013 we attended both semi-annual bridal fashion weeks in New York City. This time around, however, we took a pass — but admired from afar. We shared photos from Ines Di Santo’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection, and this time we again consulted The Knot, with photos by Kurt Wilberding, to share with you the Kenneth Pool Spring 2015 Collection. Head designer Amsale Aberra’s streamlined 10-piece collection is one of great illusions, with each gown presenting an alluring front with a surprise in the back. WWD said of the collection: “Aberra targeted the sexy bride… The silhouettes were seductive, many in mermaid shapes and with daring low backs.” Described The Knot: “Stepping away from the bold, dramatic aesthetic of previous seasons, instead balancing form-fitting shapes and daring low backs with romantic touches.” We’ve also squeezed in a few Instagram-captured runway images; credits are below each […]
Last year we had the luxury of attending both semi-annual bridal market, or bridal fashion week, events. This market, however, we took a pass — but that doesn’t mean we didn’t admire the couture from afar. Ines Di Santo’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection holds an array of silhouettes, fresh florals and shimmering delights. Described The Knot: “Lush gardens and the fields of the Provencal and English countrysides were the inspiration … Di Santo adds a glamorous, flirtatious touch with Ostrich feathers and shimmering opalescent paillettes, with crystal encrusted tulle and pearls adding luxurious texture.” Too, luxuriate in the extravagant floral headpieces as donned by the models. ***The debut of this collection on the runway comes just in time for this weekend’s Ines Di Santo and Maria Elena Headpieces Trunk Show at Lovella Bridal; click the link for more info!
