In part one, we shared photos from Maria Elena’s anniversary celebration in Miami, Florida. Here, the party continues with photos we snapped of pieces that were on display during the event. Pieces from the new collection were mixed with pieces from past collections. We’ll save the vintage pieces for last! (Continued below) Below you’ll see amazing vintage Maria Elena pieces. You’ll see that the older collection features plenty of floral design, as well as gold (in which Maria Elena pieces were all sampled at one time), which Maria Elena still uses in her designs. What’s great is that we still carry some of these vintage pieces in our salon! We hope you love what you see. If you see something you love, inquire within: (818) 246-4637.
Our documentation of bridal market continues with a very exciting piece of news! We’ve picked up Twigs & Honey, a collection of designs by Myra Callan. “Their pieces are so delicate and intricate in such a romantic whimsical way!” Nayri, Lovella Wedding Fashion Specialist, said of the label. “It’s the perfect accessory line for the bride channeling a vintage/bohemian-inspired look for her wedding day.“ We’ll let the photos do the talking. Enjoy!
There are three components to a wedding cake display: 1.) The cake. 2.) The entire space in which it’s presented. 3.) The stand. The stand can be especially important if your cake isn’t a big statement in itself (hello, budget brides). It’s also another way that you can weave in your wedding’s theme with relative ease. We have some gorgeous inspiration for you today, from vintage silver stands, to iron custom-made creations, to those dripping in crystals. Enjoy!
