Melissa, in a Frothy Allure Bridals Dress, Marries Robert

Robert and Melissa’s engagement photos were snapped in Los Angeles, but their nuptials found them 1,000 miles away in Denver, Colorado. So we have a lovely Colorado wedding to share today. The couple married in an intimate ceremony, then made their way to a fabulous venue complete with art gallery for their reception — but not before Rene Tate Photography snapped some beautiful photos with the state’s majestic beauty as the backdrop. But let us assure you, the bride’s lovely gown was not upstaged by nature. Lovella Bride Melissa wore a textural gown by Allure Bridals from our salon. Her dress featured a sweetheart neckline and embellished belt, met with a textured skirt full and frothy at the base. She wore her hair in an elegant updo and completed her look with earrings, a bracelet and veil. She truly looked like a million bucks! You’ll notice the ‘maids in sweet […]

Mara, in an Exquisitely Textured Wtoo Dress, Marries Doug in Malibu

Doug and Mara married in Malibu, California last summer. Their day was infused with nature, sunshine, sliders and beer, wildflowers, games, and lots of joy. It was a delightfully parred-down occasion, with oodles of personal touches with a playful vibe. Lovella Bride Mara, who is an incredible athlete (along with her husband), wore an exquisitely textured Wtoo dress from Lovella that showed off her fit, feminine physique. To match the relaxed feel of the day, her only jewelry was drop earrings; she wore her hair back with a flower. Her colorful bouquet was a nod to the California landscape we love: vibrant, warm and textured. The couple’s wedding was so sweet that it was featured on both Sweet Violet Bride and Storyboard Wedding blogs. Enjoy these photos from their big day! And you love Mara’s gown, contact us and let us help you find your perfect gown! Credits: Photography: Bright […]

Kristin, in Two Glitzy Ines Di Santo dresses, Marries Jeff

We had to do all in our power to not repost all of these images from Jeff and Kristin’s wedding that Duke Khodaverdian captured and shared on his blog. From the couple’s nuptials in a historic museum and gardens to the glamorous and exquisitely-lit intimate reception celebration on the water, the great city of Miami is present in every one of these photos. Lovella bride Kristin absolutely dazzled in an Ines Di Santo ball gown and accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces. She wore shoes from the David Tutera Shoe Collection that worked wonderfully with her bejeweled gown, headpiece and jewelry, all also from our salon. For the reception she changed into a more dance-worthy number: a fabulous mini custom-designed dress, also by Ines Di Santo. In fact, if you love Kristin’s Ines gowns, you’re in luck! We’re hosting an Ines Di Santo trunk show March 14-16, and the designer will […]

Color Inspiration: Navy Blue & Yellow

Navy and yellow as a color combination is chic, modern and seasonless. Put plainly, these colors combined are a breath of fresh air. Infusing your wedding’s theme with yellow can offer a nautical affair a refreshing burst of energy. Conversely, injecting deep blue into a prominently-yellow theme can offer contrast and classic appeal. To make this palette work any time of year, simply make your prominent color choice depending on the season: lemon for spring and summer, navy for fall and winter. Spend some time to soak up the effect of these partnered colors; you may fall under its spell as we did. Enjoy!
